hello friends in nottingham and the surrounding areas. we’re making our first appearance at JT soar next month. JT soar is an ex-fruit and vegetable warehouse turned DIY music and arts space that also houses a recording studio. all ages, BYOB. friends doing great things.

the last time we played in nottingham all our gear fell over at the same time so this time we will be putting all our gear on springboards and rotating platforms. see you there.

hoyhoy. we have pulled out of the punk rock show at trof we were supposed to be playing this month. sorry about that, we couldn’t make it work out. however, in our neverending quest to scale rowdy mountain, on friday march 15th at fuel in manchester we will be reprising our shitshow of a weezer cover band WELL WEEZER with some fresh new numbers at the request of manchester’s most-antagonistic QUEER’D SCIENCE. it will be free, there will be music and here is an “event”:

hi. we are playing a carefully planned festival on saturday at 21.50 at KRAAK GALLERY. there is also bilge pump, our fine buddies in papayer, chrik, bedford falls, plank!, easter, ian breen playing in every band, and a bunch of bands i will inevitably miss. there’s also a second day if that interests you. crack yr skull are DJing afterwards and hopefully that means i get to see luke from doctrines drink out of a pineapple again.

hey, how are you? you’re looking really great and we haven’t spoken in a while. we’re taking some time off right now so here’s some reminders/small pieces of news:

- we still have some copies leftover of ‘summer gangs’ on tape. sean from youth camp has 50 in his house and i should really text him about that. hi sean.

- nick is right now of this second in utrecht on a month-long tour with hammers. i saw them play london on monday and it was great. dear europe, take care of our baby.

- OUT OF SPITE APPROACHES. i’m still excited about this.

- nick also bought a van. assuming it survives aforementioned tour, it is our shared fun vehicle. this means we are making plans to become a semi-real band again and travel to some places we haven’t been or rarely visit in august. we’ll call you about it.

- breen is recording an LP with his claw the thin ice musical group. he put up a new record recently called ‘howling’. one song sounds like my vitriol (in a good way?).
